Bishop Norberto do Amaral, Bishop of Maliana Diocese, presided at the Ordination due to the illness of the Bishop of Dili, Bishop Alberto Ricardo da Silva.

Many of Roque and Carlito's family and friends travelled long distances to be part of the celebrations.

Over 70 people undertook a 7 hour journey in trucks and busses from the Carmelite parish at Zumalai to be present at the Ordination.

Our Carmelite students from Hera formed part of the choir as well as arranging the printing and distribution of booklets, food and seating arrangements.

Our warmest congratulations go to Roque and Carlito, their families and Carmelite brothers and sisters in Timor Leste.
