Brothers Paulo Martins De Araújo, Celestino Soares, Elias Soares Sin, João Fernando Cabal, Fernando Gusmão and Samuel Lopes and will make their Solemn Profession of Vows (life-long commitment) in the Carmelite Order on 20 November. Their Profession will bring to 33 the number of Solemnly Professed Timorese Carmelites.
Fr Bruce Clark (Prior Provincial) will celebrate the Profession Mass and receive the vows. The ceremony will take place at Hera in Timor-Leste. A large crowd of family and friends is expected for the Mass and for the celebration which will follow.
After making their first vows in 2017 and 2018, these brothers have been continuing their preparation for ministry with theological studies and technical training.
