On 24 May, we celebrate Our Lady Help of Christians, beloved Patroness of Australia, who journeys with the people of this nation through every season of joy, trial, and transformation. Through historic challenges and contemporary struggles, Mary remains a sign of courage, strength, and gentle care, praying and interceding for all who live in our nation for a future of hope, peace and unity.
In the Carmelite tradition, we turn to Mary not only as a model of discipleship but as a Mother who leads us to Christ, her Son. May her maternal intercession inspire us to live with courage, compassion, and deep trust in God's love.
